Coiffeur Vilain - Grand Hospice

An atypical hairdresser who knows no boundaries, between his hometown of Brussels and his native Grenoble.

Le Vilain is me, Paul. My globe-trotting past has taken me to salons all over the world (France, Belgium, Canada, New Zealand).

As a hairdresser for almost twenty years, the Vilain project is an opportunity for me to imagine a different approach to hairdressing. To place the haircut at the heart of the service I offer, and to put it in perspective with today's social and environmental issues. The idea behind Vilain is to be :

Friendly: in reality I'm not mean and the word Naughty is just there to arouse your curiosity and add a little touch of offbeat humor that fits my personality well. Listening to my customers and ensuring their well-being are of paramount importance in my profession, which is why I'll take an hour per cut (or less if you're in a hurry, I promise 😉 ) to create a real exchange and meet your expectations as best I can.

Ecological: no shampoo at Vilain, the aim is to reduce water consumption. I make a point of using ecological products https://www.lessismore.at/en/pages/uber-uns to protect your hair (and your body!) from all chemical substances.

Social: everyone is welcome at Vilain, and prices are low to enable as many people as possible to treat themselves to a haircut. Just like the cafés, a "Coupe Suspendue" has been set up. Vilain has teamed up with a refugee association to style the hair of people in need, giving them a smile and, why not, a dose of self-confidence by enhancing their image.
