Grand Hospice

Temporary occupation

In anticipation of the major renovation work required to create a housing and community services complex, the CPAS of Brussels has decided to make the Hospice Pacheco available to an innovative project with a strong social and cultural focus.

Four themes

All projects are divided into four themes: Sustainable Development, Community, Art, and Education & Health. Collective management is encouraged by an agora that brings together all the projects present on the site.

Reconnecting neighborhoods

Le Grand Hospice's ambition is threefold: to bring together several complementary activities, to offer a mediation and reception center for the neighborhood, and to demonstrate social innovation. Programming revolves around social and cultural themes.

A remarkable heritage

The Grand Hospice is a 16,000 m2 complex comprising two listed gardens, once again freely open to the public. Listed since 1997, they are veritable pearls of greenery in the Pentagon district.
