Garden

The gardens of the Grand Hospice opened their doors to the general public at the end of an opening weekend on July 9-10-11. They are now open for the duration of the temporary occupation.

Listed since 1997, the two interior gardens on the Hospice Pacheco site are veritable pearls of greenery in the Pentagon district, which has little in the way of green spaces. Designed by architect Partoes, they were redeveloped over the years prior to their classification. The first garden is laid out in the spirit of a landscaped garden, with a few remarkable trees. The design of the second garden, on the other hand, is resolutely more classical.

"As part of the temporary occupation, the gardens of the Institut Pacheco, which were once dedicated to the use of the former nursing home, will be open to the public and the neighborhood for the very first time. We're talking about no less than 7,000 m² of greenery open to the public right in the heart of the City! " comments Khalid Zian, President of the CPAS de la Ville de Bruxelles.

This space is open to the public, and in particular to local residents, and provides facilities for the whole neighborhood, based on two principles: creating links and living together. The gardens, which are open to the public, allow everyone to discover the area while enjoying a drink in a fully equipped guinguette.

To bring this little oasis of greenery to life, pali pali has teamed up with Jardin to manage the site's guinguette. Jardin transforms unoccupied and forgotten spaces into breathtaking places where the emphasis is always on the experience.

Places where you can enjoy good times and create unforgettable memories!
