Veronica de Giovanelli is a painter born in Trento in 1989 and lives and works in Brussels. A graduate of the Venice Academy of Fine Arts (BA and Master) and in painting at La Cambre (Master). She also attended the MA Fine Arts Research and Development course at Middlesex University, London (Erasmus+).

She was laureate of the Emma du Cayla-Martin Prize awarded by the Académie Royale de Belgique, the Prix Laurent Moonens, the Celeste Prize in Milan and the annual prize of the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice. She was an artist in residence at the Moonens Foundation in Brussels, the NKD Nordisk Kunstartsenter Dale in Norway and the Boghossian Foundation.
