Call for GRAND HOSPICE projects
A call for projects has been launched on the Grand Hospice site!
Pending major renovation work to create a housing and community services complex, the Brussels CPAS has decided to make the site available to an operator and an innovative project with a strong social and cultural focus that meets the needs of local residents. A call for projects was launched in early March by the CPAS of the City of Brussels.
Pali pali, a gas pedal of cultural, social and solidarity-based projects, is launching a call for projects to occupy the Grand Hospice site, a cultural and social third-location offering a variety of community services and activities to residents of the surrounding neighborhoods and beyond.
After opening the gardens to the neighborhood in July, the call is now out to all the projects that will occupy the spaces.
These projects can now submit their applications by filling in the FORM available : HERE
Projects will be assessed on the basis of eight objective criteria, and must cover all seven of the social and cultural themes that define the Grand Hospice project (solidarity, art & culture, education/health/sports, lab & innovation, sustainable development, social economy, living together/creating links).
The projects will join major neighborhood players who have already established their activities on the site: Jeugdhuis Chicago Maison de Jeunes, Comité Alhambra, Chicago back asbl and LD³ - Het Anker, who are actively involved in the programming and choice of occupants.
Practical info :
- Site visits will be organized on Tuesday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 26 at 11:00 am at 7 rue du Grand Hospice, 1000 Brussels.
- The deadline for submitting proposals is midnight on October 29.
- The lease starts on November 29 and runs until December 31, 2023.
