05.05 > 19.05 : GOODBYE BLUE SKY EXHIBITION

Promoting accessible, local, supportive and, above all, alternative culture in an unusual location - that's what Distorsion, an associative micro art gallery in the heart of Brussels, is all about.

Gabriel Tapia is an Ecuadorian-born artist who lives and works in Brussels. He is a graduate of the Atelier dans l'espace publique and the Académie Royale des Beaux Arts.

Multidisciplinary, he already has several exhibitions to his credit, including an artist residency at the Musée de la Tapisserie de Tourné in 2016 and his latest audiovisual performance with his collective 0°1533 last year at SB34 in Brussels.

This time, he will be presenting his latest oil paintings as part of the Goodbye Blue Sky exhibition.

GoodbyeBlue Sky is a series of paintings that form a socio-political discourse, referring to a melancholy produced by the sense of decline of our society, in which each individual tries to take advantage of his fellow man, based on a systemic, economic and cultural ideology.
